Our October 13th speakers will include Rob Wingard (WDFW), Private Lands Biologist for Region 4 and Belinda Rotten, Greg Meis and Curran Cosgrove (WDFW) from the Skagit Wildlife Area. Rob will review the regions four (4) different types of Hunting Access Agreements with landowners — Feel Free to Hunt, Hunt by Reservation, Register to Hunt, and Hunt by Written Permission and will list of this year’s private properties enrolled in these programs and the private lands hunting website linked here. Plenty of hunting area tips and opportunities for questions. Belinda, Greg and Curran will familiarize us with the many units of the Skagit Wildlife Area (SWA) including the popular Samish Bay, Debay’s Slough and Island units. They will provide us with information on current and future activities and planning for the SWA.
